Cooking class
Welcome to our cooking classes on the Farm. You will be taken on a discovery of Tuscan cuisine by our Chef Massimo Giorgi. Courses will be held for up to 4 people inside the kitchen of “La Tabaccaia” restaurant.
You can agree with the chef on the preparations you are most interested in perfecting or let the chef accompany you on a discovery of how to make a complete Tuscan meal, starting with the preparation of appetizers, homemade pasta, sauces, main courses, side dishes and desserts.
Basic Course / €160/person
You will prepare with the Chef appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes and desserts (you may be able to agree on your own preferences). The course takes place inside the restaurant kitchen. The course is suitable for all types of people whether they are experienced or novice.
We will be able to arrange two time options from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All courses will conclude with dinner for the course from 3 to 6 p.m. with dinner starting from 7:30 p.m. onward.
or with lunch, in the latter case for the course to be held from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm,
where you can taste the dishes prepared with the Chef.
The price per person is €160 and includes teaching materials, kitchen apron, notebook as well as lunch/dinner at the end of the course; only wines are excluded.
Course with Farm experiences / €260/person
We will start after breakfast around 9:30 a.m. You will be taken by 9-seater minibus inside the farm (about 2Km from the Relais where you will stay).
You will get to understand the history of the Farm with its products, visit the gardens, the Limonaia, the terrace over the valley, and the small square with its little church.
We will then move on by visiting the olive groves and vineyards in the valley and then finish the tour in the farm winery at the Relais where you will be staying.
You will then be taken into the restaurant kitchen to meet our chef where you will prepare appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes and desserts (you can possibly agree on any preferences in the choice of dishes to prepare) the course will take place inside the restaurant kitchen.
We will be able to arrange two time options from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All courses will end with dinner (in the former case from 7:30 p.m. onwards) or lunch where you can taste the dishes prepared with the Chef.
The price per person is €260 includes teaching materials notebook diaper, farm excursion, minibus transfer as well as Lunch/Dinner at the end of the course as indicated, only wines are excluded.
Electric Bike rental €65 / Day
If you love the Tuscan countryside you can book our bikes, we have both road bikes and muscle mountain bikes or the more comfortable electric bikes that will allow you to take magnificent rides in the valley or you can enjoy nature in the Monte Lignano nature park behind the Farm.
We have many routes to suggest, and it will be our pleasure to give you all the details including maps and directions.
Farm trip with tour of the villa and gardens
€40 per person
We will start after breakfast around 10:30 a.m. You will be taken by 9-seater minibus inside the farm (about 2Km from the Relais).
You will get to understand the history of the farm with its products, visit the gardens, the Limonaia, the terrace over the valley, the small square with its small church we will then move on visiting the olive groves and vineyards in the valley and then finish the visit in the farm’s cellar at the Relais where you will stay.
Knowing Bees € 45 / Person
Exploring the world of bees is a fascinating experience that allows you to safely approach their lives, observe their flights and understand the extraordinary society they have created over millions of years of evolution.
Accompanied by an experienced beekeeper, you can explore the farm’s apiary and admire the lives of these magnificent insects so important to the ecosystem, constantly on the move in search of nectar and pollen. You will have the opportunity to observe the cells where honey is deposited and those where the queen lays her eggs to ensure the survival of the hive.
The duration of the course, which varies from one hour to two, depends on your curiosity and always ends with a tasting of honey freshly harvested from the hive.
At this time you can relax, ask questions and enjoy the company of our beekeepers.
Driver tours
Get carried away!
Park your car in our private parking lot and enjoy the Tuscan landscape through a private tour.
We arrange private tours for up to eight people with van and driver we have several proposals:
About 20 minutes from the farm we will reach Montepulciano one of the most characteristic villages Della Toscana located in a fortress, you can visit the many underground cellars inside the village where the famous Vino Nobile aged three years in oak barrels is made.
We will then reach the splendid Pienza papal village built in the 1400s by Enea Piccolomini, Pope Pius II from the town there is a magnificent view of the Val d’Orcia UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will take the road again to reach Bagno Vignoni.
A small Roman spa town whose square is a pool from which water still gushes out at 65 °C today, get lost in the narrow alleys to savor characteristic Tuscan dishes.
We will return to the farm by 6 p.m.

We will leave at 10-10:30 a.m. from the farm for a maximum of eight people we will reach the famous monastery of the cells in Cortona one of the first monasteries made by St. Francis, you can then reach the Etruscan city of Cortona and visit the many monuments and the famous museum of Etruscan art MAEC we will take our bus back to reach the fortress of Girifalco .
Here we will visit the ancient walls from which I can enjoy a magnificent view of the Val di Chiana, the interior rooms where photography and contemporary art exhibitions are usually displayed, you can admire the old water collection tanks.
Then we will get back on the road and reach Lake Trasimeno where we will visit the town of Castiglion del lago with its fortress from whose walls you can admire the view of Lake Trasimeno and its major islands, then we will reach the small town of Passignano from which we will enjoy,
weather permitting, of a fantastic sunset among the shores of the lake.
We will return to the farm by 7:30 p.m.

Horseback riding in the Tuscan countryside
€ 70/ Hour
Here on the Farm we have been collborating for years with a riding school located only 15 minutes away.
From here you can enjoy fantastic horseback rides through vineyards, hills, forests, sunflower and wheat fields.
This experience is suitable for both beginners and more experienced riders. Those who are new to riding can use the large fenced areas of the stables to become familiar with the horse before deciding to go for a ride.
For experienced riders, however, more adventurous routes are organized.
We will book the experience that best suits your needs for you so that you will have an unforgettable experience.
Vespa rental
€160 for two people including helmet and insurance
Do you like the wind in your hair enjoy the scents that the Tuscan countryside can give you why not rent a Vespa?
By Vespa, complete with helmets and insurance, you can reach historical and characteristic places such as Cortona, an Etruscan city, The Monastery of the Celle, the Girifalco fortress and much more in just a few minutes.
You can rent our Vespas to immerse yourself in the Tuscan atmosphere.
