Apricot Jam is prepared by picking the fruit from the trees scattered among the Farm’s olive groves. Apricots are small in size and reddish in color when ripe. To ensure an intense and pleasant taste, they are slow steamed, preserving the natural flavor resulting from ripening in the sun. Here in Tuscany, we use it spread on toast for breakfast or snack, but it is also great for making desserts such as cakes and tarts. In addition, it can be enjoyed on its own as a dessert.
